Cool 3D Code Snippet From My Former Life
Earlier in my career, I worked for two different game development companies (Mudpuppy Studios, Imagebuilder Software) both which have gone out of business. So, I used to care a lot about game development technology and hardcore optimization techniques. So, when I came across this article on beyond3d.com I was intrigued. The 30 second synopsis is that it is a article detailing the author's attempts to locate the author of a super-fast algorithm that has been used in many 3D game engines, particularly ID's Quake3. Anyway, I won't spoil the ending, but it's pretty enteresting, and I thought it might be fun to post it here.
