How To Detect The iPhone Simulator
|
Recently, I had to try to detect if I was running on the iPhone Simulator. Here is the code I came up with. Please for you to enjoy...
NSString* model= [[UIDevice currentDevice] model];
NSString* simulator = @"iPhone Simulator";
if ([model compare:simulator] == NSOrderedSame)
{
//Simulator!
}

Updates To the Doodle Games Line
|
Lots of action on Doodle Games the past week. First, the Doodle Singles were released:
-Doodle Guess
-Doodle Ships
-Tic Tac Doodle
-Doodle Search
-Doodle Dots
These are the individual Doodle Games released as stand alone games for only $0.99.
We also released a new version of Doodle Games (1.1) today. Included is a bunch of new content and a couple of bug fixes. We also addressed the two most requested features which are a global sound control and the ability to enter your own word in Hangman (Doodle Guess). We have 2 more new applications that we are currently hard at work on, but I'll try to post a few of the nuggets I've picked up on iPhone development in the next week or so.
Enjoy!
